SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

Unless we are notified otherwise, orders are shipped complete as quickly as possible. Upon request, we can notify customers when goods are complete at our warehouse, then wait until we are advised of a sail date before shipping to Bermuda. The ship sails every Friday and goods are usually delivered the following week . . . usually by Thursday.

Weekly storage charges are incurred, for any goods stored at our warehouse for more than two weeks. Customers are notified in advance of the $ amount for the storage fee, and when charges will begin, to determine if they will want any partial shipments. Partial shipments are also available when some items in an order are delayed.  Please note that backordered items are beyond our control.

Since Warranties begin the day the goods are delivered, you should be ready to install Appliances before having them ship to Bermuda.

​

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALL CARTONS SHOULD BE OPENED and goods inspected upon receipt.  We MUST BE NOTIFIED WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS of any concealed damages in order to repair or replace at our cost.

​

When orders arrive in Bermuda, we will arrange for the goods to be delivered, unless notified otherwise.  Small shipments may be picked up at our location for no extra charge, however large orders, which have not been requested to be delivered, must be picked up at an agreed location. 

Minimum Delivery Charge is $99. Trucking charges are determined after the goods are delivered and the cost increases depending on customer location, obstacles (ladders, stairs, awkward entries, etc.), requirements (crane truck, unpacking, set-up, etc.) and any other time or labor intensive duties.

There are additional flat fees to remove and dispose Appliances, Mattresses and other goods.

Customers are required to verify that goods will fit through doorways before receiving delivery. If there is a problem and a technician must go to the delivery site while the delivery is in process, (for example, to remove the doors of a refrigerator to get it through the doorway), there will be a $100 Urgency Fee added to the standard service charge.

Removal and disposal services of any existing appliances are available upon delivery. Appliances must be disconnected and ready for pick-up, or we can arrange for a technician to be on-site at the time of delivery. In addition to the delivery charge, there is a flat fee of $33 to remove & dispose up to two appliances being replaced, or $99 for 3 or more appliances. The additional flat fee to remove existing Mattresses and/or Boxsprings is $66. If customers need removal of any other items, we need to be notified in advance, and will advise extra cost upon request.

Free Curbside Delivery with carton removal is included with the purchase of appliances. Any service required beyond basic trucking will be billed at $99 per hour.

Goods may be picked up at our location for no extra charge.

​

“Out-of-Box” Warranty is provided on all goods unless otherwise specified. Our “Out-of-Box” Warranty guarantees a product will perform correctly upon initial set-up and installation. We must be notified within 5 days of receipt of goods, unless otherwise determined, to address any “Out-of-Box” issues.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We want to make sure that your shopping experience is a positive one!  That is why we offer a 14-day return policy on items purchased from us.

​

Please note that samples, shipping costs, and promotional items are NOT eligible for return.  The buyer is responsible to return the item to our location.  Return labels are not provided.

​

If there has been a mistake on our part or if the product was damaged during shipping, we will be happy to send you a replacement product.  All products that are returned to us must be sent back in their original packaging and not tampered with.

​

In the unlikely event that our products should cause an adverse effect, or if you are just not satisfied with the product, we will accept all returns within 14 days of the delivery or purchase date under the following conditions:

​

1. If the product you received is unopened and undamaged, you have 14 days from purchase or delivery date to receive a refund for the value of the product minus shipping cost.

2. If the product you received has been opened and/or has been used, you have 14 days from the purchase or delivery date to return the product for a refund for the value of the product minus shipping and handling costs

3. Store credit and/or even exchanges are not subject to shipping and handling costs.  The balance remaining on exchanges that are less than the amount of the original product will be refunded in cash or as agreed with the customers.

4. In order to return a package to us, you must inform/call us or email us using the contact form.

In order to be eligible for a refund or replacement, the product you return to us must be at least 75% full with all of the original packaging.

​

We will provide an exchange or refund within 14 days after purchase for any product that was purchased with a manufacturing defect.

​

Special Orders may NOT be Cancelled & Returns are NOT Accepted – be sure to measure spaces and review details on Quotations carefully before ordering.

​

In some cases, goods purchased from stock may be returned with management approval, however a 15% Restocking Fee will be incurred.

​

Though in rare situations, an exception may be made to accept a return on a special order item, however a 25% Return Fee will be incurred.

​

Changes or Cancellation of Special Orders before goods are shipped to Bermuda are subject to vendor's approval & conditions. A $33 Change or Cancellation Fee will be applied in addition to any applicable vendor fees.
